LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN SMAN 5 PURWOKERTO

Assalamu'alaikum Wr. Wb.  This post is dedicated for report on the results of observation in SMAN 5 Purwokerto. The observation held to fulfill TEFL course assignments from our TEFL's lecturer, Lutfi Istikharah, M.Pd. I hope fro m this post, you can find our report in easy way through links. CONCLUSION & SUGGESTION

D.   CONCLUSION  AND SUGGESTION The observation was on 31st October 2019 in class XI IPA 2, SMAN 5 Purwokerto with M rs. Cici as the teacher. The class had a Scientific Learning as a learning model. This method is based on Curriculum 2013 that had been implied in SMAN 5 Purwokerto. The learning activity is listening about analytical exposition as the topic and some of the weaknesses are a conducive situation in class, the limitations of media, and room for listening class. The topic that delivered was used speaker to support the learning process. That was good because it could train them to practice their listening skill but it was not easy for teacher. The teacher had to bring the equipment like speaker and laptop. It must be more convenience if the learning process is conducted in listening lab or room.

ALTERNATIVE SCENARIO OF EFL CLASS

C.     AN ALTERNATIVE SCENARIO OF EFL CLASS METHOD 1.          Method The method that we will use for alternative scenario in EFL class is “discussion” from Problem Based Learning (PBL). From what we discussed, in the last observation there was listening so we will develop it into group activities. A.   INTRODUCTION 1.          Background Learning is one of design process by the teacher and students must be involved in the learning activities to achieve the ir final competencies. A teacher who will carry out the learning activities must prepare the material s to be taught to students and also, a teacher must understand the characteristics of their student , the learning methods to be used and the objectives of learning activities . If the teachers have done their job well in the learning activities to the maximum , t hen the students get knowledge from the learning activities with or without a fun method .
